Right now I have a handfull of cheato and some rock in there. Nothing else(except for my skimmer and a light). I was wondering if I should put sand in the bottom of it and get alot of live rock in there for better filtration? Besides wat I listed I don't have anything else! Need ideas!

Unless you have a refugium sectioned off from your pumps, I wouldn't put sand in it. I think if you have more rock then it is fine to put it in there.

if it is sectioned off then throw some sand in there. also what fish do you have, the sand could really help out some of those guys too. maybe some bio-balls too
