Hi all

I need to buy some things for my system and I have decided to release 2 sps frag packs (possibly a 3rd if someone wants it) from my tank.
I am offering them to members here first before I sell in other places. Members can buy the pack for a discounted price of 125.00.
I will sell these packs online for 150.00 if members dont buy them.
All frags will be Fresh cut and you can have them mounted or unmounted....your choice.
I would prefer to have local pickup or I would be willing to drive to Iowa City/Coralville to meet someone for pickup.

The pack consists of the following corals....

Electric Blue A. humilis w/ green polyps

Not sure of the real name of this but I call it the Blue Ghost Coral...its very stunning!

Green w/blue tips Acro Has a green main body with bright blue tips. Grows more like a condensed stag than a tight colony.

ORA Green Birdsnest.

A. Nana This one has spectacular blueish purple tips.

Tricolor Milli featuring Blue, pink and Teal colorations

For club members I will also throw in a frag of my orange cap and green slimer as a bonus If you want them.
PM me if you are interested...

Thanks
eins

I am interested in this sale. The only thing is I am a saltwater noob and am wondering if I can handle these SPS's? Please let me know what your opinion is on the difficulty of raising these sps.

Sorry I made that post in list form but it didn't post that way. Also the tank is six months old, and has been cycling saltwater for about two months.

What are your water parameters?

ph
Alk
Magnesium
Amonia
NO3
Calcium

These are key parameters if you want to keep SPS corals...
If you get those in balance you will be fine with SPS. Y our lighting looks fine.

OK sorry about the long delay in the response. ph 8.1 alk 2.25 mag? ammonia 0 no3 .2 nitrite .05 Calcium ? I thought I had a test kit for calcium but I guess I don't. I do use reef crystals and RO water.

If you have any nitrite in your system, you're tank is probably still cycling and not ready for SPS. Ammonia and Nitrite should be 0 and Nitrate should be 0 (or very close to it).

I'd run FOWLR or add some softies and practice keeping Alk, Cal & Mag in balance before you try SPS. If you get too ahead of yourself, your $100+ frag pack will turn into a bunch of expensive coral skeletons...

Sorry all for the delay....I was traveling last week.

Potroast

You should be testing for Magnesium and calcium...important parameters when keeping SPS.

Contact me PM if you are still wanting the pack....

I am having trouble with PM's I think....I sent one on Mon and also today.... I am going to pass on the offer at this time. I appreciate your help. I need to settle my tank a little more before I dump a lot of money in livestock. Thanks again.
