I just downloaded the demo for world of warcraft.  I was wondering if anyone else played?

Ya I downloaded the demo last night and have been playing.

Uh oh... 2 more souls lost to the dark side.... Muahaha I actually have not even played it. My addictive personality would tear me up from what I have heard. I know quite a few guys that have played that game series for years and enjoyed it though.

I've got a level 70 Hunter and a 61 Mage.

I haven't played in a few months though. I tend to play in phases.

Create a horde character on the "Area 51" server and I'll show you around.

Oh, sorry, I think it's actually "Area52", not "Area51". Like I said, it's been a few month

Wow, it was locked? Maybe trial accounts can't play on that server. How many other servers are locked?

Not a whole lot of them. I played for a few hour and quit the game. When I came back my character was gone. Is there a save feature I am missing?

No, your character should still be there, you may just be attached to a different server. When you look at the list of servers, there should be an indicator by the ones that you have characters on.

Coming from the guy that just got of halo3 at 3am...

I got on the area 52 server. Is there a buddy list or something you could be added to so I can find you. Surprise surpise I am covey or zanclus depending on the character.

And yes, there is a buddy list. Use the /friend command to add a friend. My characters are "Crimsonsteel" and "malice"

So to add me to your friends list, you would use

/friend crimsonsteel
/friend malice

Where do you find the differnet servers?

When you first sign up and sign on it gives you the choice. After the first sign it pushes you into the one youve signed on to.

After you login (when you are at the character select screen, there should be a "Change Realm" button or something like that which will allow you to switch servers.

No, we don't have to be the same race or in the same location, but we do have to be the same faction (My characters are both Horde). As long as you are a Horde race, I can get to you.
