No there is not. But I have heard that if they are under 4inch they are very hard to keep alive. So let me know how it goes.

Don't worry david, once you get everything off of your drive we will set it back to the factory defaults and everything will work again.

I think the cutoff between easy and a PITA is around 2.5 inches.  I was pretty ignorant of reefkeeping when I got my first clams, which were just under 3", and I never had a problem.Â

Id say we got a pretty good deal.  Mine seems to be doing great under my T5s.  I have him way up on the top rocks.  I did a little house keeping and moved some things around the other day.  Tried to move the clam to a better viewing spot but the dang thing had already settled in.  Oh well Ill get used to it.  Its amazing how different they can look between a frontal and top down look.Â
