Has anyone seen a nice blue linkia star for sale anywhere in the CR/IC area?   I'd like to add one to my tank.

I'm also looking for a sand sifting star to add to the tank at my office.

I can tell you that Petland in IC has them from time to time, I don't know much about Blue Linkias in general, other than that they are very sensitive. I'd be weary of the quality of Petland's water, they have some serious issues with algea there. I can also tell you that Hung refuses to sell them at Sea of Marvels because of how difficult they are to keep alive. Don't know if that helps.

The sand sifters are a waste of money imo. They are known for eating all edible life in the sandbed and then dying. I had one for maybe 2 months before it died, but maybe others will have better things to tell you. I think blue linkias are beautiful, but one of those things better left in the ocean, as we really don't know enough about them to adequately take care of them long term. That being said, I know there are or at least were a few club members who have successfully had them in their tanks (Was Lee one of them?).
