I'm origionally from Utah, spent 2.5 years in Naples, Florida and now I'm living in Sterling IL. I had a 120g reef I loved in Utah but had to leave it behind for school. I am finally done with school and I'm back in the hobby.

A year ago my 150g tall tank, stand, conopy, rocks and everything else I needed to get things going made the 1300 mile trek in the back of my truck from Utah. I'm originally from Utah and all my fish buddies are still there so it was easier to get everything there when I went out for a visit family.

Due to an unexpected move and the birth of twins, yeah... twins... The tank sat with the live rock and a maxi-jet for over a year. But now its finally rolling!!!

LEDs are new since I've been out of the hobby and so far I love them. The programability is fun and so far I like the color.

I had some issues plumbing this thing... I'm down to one very slow leak and I'm hoping it will plug itself off eventually

Now for my cloudy water question. My tank has been up and running for a week and a half. I used ATM colony which contains nitrifying bacteria. I have tested my water 3 times (yesturday being the most recent) and my amonia, nitrate and nitrite have been zero. However, The last 3-4 days my water has been slightly cloudy. I changed the carbon bags hoping things would clear up but its still slightly cloudy. I've never used nitrifying bacteria and this zero amonia thing is a little strange for me. I've only cycled one other tank and it was a very different experience.

That looks really nice. Love the rock layout. I usually don't like canopies but I'm digging that one.

Thanks! Maybe eventually I will try the no canopy look. My last tank had a conopy and I didnt even think about going without one.
