    Christmas party will be held at Joe Hall's house this year, December 19th at 12:00. This will be a pot luck so bring your favorite dish. Please post here what dish you plan to bring. There will be various door prizes and a gift exchange. The gift can be a coral frag from your tank or reef related items. Lets keep the gifts around the $20 range. Members from other regions are more than welcome to attend.

    Angela and I are looking forward to seeing everyone at our home on the 19th of Dec at 12:00 pm. We are hoping everyone can make it this will be a potluck. We will be cooking the meat and I was just trying to see what everyone was planning on making. I am looking forward to some of the great dishes we had last year YUM!!!! If you could please post if you plan on being there and what you plan to bring that would be good. I know Bill is working real hard to make sure we have some nice gifts for the party! By the way this is your 3rd year for the Christmas Party and I am looking to many more. So bring your family, love ones and anyone who likes to talk to Saltwater geeks we will all be there.

    Less than to weeks away people. Getting excited! Have some great door prizes and a crapload of frags to give away! A mix of highend sps and Zoas. So something for every level of reef tank. May even bring a couple fluorescent orange shrooms.

    I plan on being there. Not sure what I will be bringing but it will be some sort of dessert/snack.

    Party is this Saturday!
    Door prizes will include: Hanna phosphate Checker, Hanna Alk checker, Extra bottle of Alk reagent, salinity calibration solution, Bone cutters, frag plugs, 6 or so high end sps frags, 6 or so high end zoa frags. Corals will be raffled individually not as packs. So all paid girs member who attends will leave with something nice.

    Unless the weather does something crazy I plan on making the trip. I'll probably bring along some venison summer sausage and cheese.

    Good food, good friends, cool frags, what better way to spend a winter day. Anyone else from @Region: Cedar Rapids & Iowa City interested in going i've got room in the car.
