heaters

    So one of the Visitherms I got to replace all my stealth heaters has quit. Discus tank got down to 73 but they still ate fine. Frustrating.........can someone make a quality product anymore?[​IMG]
    Marineland still has awesome customer service I will say, they sent me 6 new visatherms and gave me full credit for 12 more, so cant complain about that.

    Nice...gotta like that!! If you want a good heater, go with a Jager. From what I've seen in customer reviews and my personal experience, they are the best heaters on the market.

    I've always used Via Aqua which are awesome and always keep within .5 of the desired temp.  I just bought a Jager for my pico and it seems to work good

    I'll never buy Via Aqua again. Theirs failed on my Discus tank years ago and the tank got into the 60's, fish did fine but not a good thing.
    IMO, you can't wrong with EBO. They seem to be the cadilac when it comes to heaters. I have read of people having one that works perfectly fine after almost 20 years.

    Make that 3 failed Visatherms. Definitely going to switch.

    Ouch! Seems like their failure rate is higher than the Stealth heaters! Not cool.
