I'm having problem with anemones in my tank.  Does anyone know how I can get rid of them they are on my rocks and I have tried the white liquid to get rid of them with no luck, I did by a couple of peppermint shrimp to help but that doesnt seem to be working either.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Thanks, Alicia[IMG]

Do you mean aiptasia? If so, I've always had luck with mixing a sort of soup/paste of kalkwasser powder and water and squirting that in their mouth. If you have a heavy population though, only kill a relatively small portion at a time because the kalkwasser can mess with your water chemistry if you dose too much at once.

I heat a small amount of RO water or my tank water in the microwave until it is very hot or boiling. I then take a syringe and fill it with the water and carefully squirt the aiptasia. You need to be careful not to apply the water to coral, invertebrates or fish. This has worked incredibly well for me. The aiptasia just kind of melts away never to be seen again. I have only had a few aiptasia and doing this gets rid of them and they never come back.

Nudibranches only eat aiptasia. Once those are gone, the nudi will starve to death unless it is passed on to someone else to rid them of their aiptasia;-)

I have had great luck with joe's juice. Never fails for me. I just inject it right into the thing and five minutes later it melts to nothing.

I've had good luck with Lemon juice, the concentrate kind. I just use a small syringe and give them a shot.

lemon juice injection via hypodermic needle works for me... works well. I had 10-20 in a 55g now I have none after 2 weeks treating with this method.
