I would like to continue on Craig's theme here. To be honest there were so many members that stepped up at the event that there is no way to remember all of you. And to be honest I am terrible with remembering names especially those who I just met at the show. So I also apologize to the people that spent a ton of time that I don't mention specifically.
Of course first and foremost Craig and JB for a year and a half of fricking mind blowing amounts of work. We pulled it off guys!!!! I talked to you two more over this time frame than I did my wife I think ..... hmm I better fix that I guess. Thanks it really was a great experience but don't think I ever want to do it again! Who knows though in  4 or 5 years ......... [IMG]
Joe - what more can I say that I haven't already? You and I worked together on designing the
software that ran the show and you coded a great web based application
that was a huge reason the show went so smooth. Registration was almost
    like silk. Thanks!
Jeanette - you spent three months organizing all of the signage for the event. There is no way I could have imagined this would be a daily need for three months. Wow! What an amazing amount of work that took. Thank you.

Everyone that worked registration - Thanks, I was able to enjoy the trade show floor because of your help. I owe you big for making this happen. I
left the running of this in your hands and you NAILED it, thank you. Deb, Steph, Kylie, Bill, Dan, Bob, AJ, Jeanette, Diane and many others I just plain cannot remember the names of right now. I apologize my brain is mush.
Steph - WOW! Thank you so much for handling all that you did. You stepped up in areas that I was theoretically in charge of, this gave me a ton of time to enjoy the show and spend a bunch of time with vendors and speakers to cover their needs. Thank you thank you thank you!
Deb - This is the  first chance I had to meet you. You helped SOOO much. Creating great speakers gifts, filling up totes and driving them many hours to Des Moines. Two truck loads even! Your constant help in registration also allowed me to see the interior of the show.
Kylie - Thank you for handling ordering the totes and raffle tickets. Also spending a huge amount of time working registration and being a door bouncer! You rock girl!
Nik - You took the shuttling duties off of my shoulders.  I really enjoyed driving people around especially world renowned aquarists but the fact is I couldn't handle that and still do what needed to be done on-site. Thank you.
Matt/Ninja - I saw you all week and weekend helping in numerous areas especially offering help to any vendor that needed anything.
TONS of people helping vendors load in and out. I didn't carry one thing  (well I helped Dirk load up) and really was never on the floor during load in as we were getting registration, raffle and many others things ready to go. All I know is there was a sea of lime green shirts helping our vendors. Thank you.
Yes there were a few hiccups but very few considering the massive task we took on. Everyone has heard the great comments we all received so I won't repeat them but we should be proud. I am going to go online and maybe look for the ngeative comments to see what maybe was done wrong. Hopefully there are not too many unhappy people out there, but that is usually who yells the loudest.
    Thank you everyone!

So far all threads on MACNA 2011 on the different forums are all VERY positive. I am sure I am missing some but the fact I can't find them is GREAT!!

I spent about 1/2 hour talking with a couple from Canada who have been to the last 8 MACNA shows. I asked how ours compared and they said it was one of the best they had seen, I asked about anything negative and the reply was, too much time in between speakers. I guess a couple of times they said it was about a 1/2 hour wait in between- too much time to sit and wait, and not quite enough to go walk around the show. They suggested a 10 min break in between and  then a longer break around lunch time. Just sayin what they told me.......
on another note, I thought the show was great and how everyone worked together whether you were "scheduled" or not, and it was alot of fun putting faces with names.

I spent alot of time driving "VIP"s around (my pleasure Joel) and EVERY person from speakers, (Vargas and Stimey were a hoot!) to sponsors to just regular people that happen to catch a ride said over and over how seamless and well ran our MACNA was and what a beautiful city we have!! Thank you Joel, Craig, J.B. (and everyone else, Big D, Matt, "SPEEDY LOL or Ray, ETC) for letting me be part of a great experince, I know I showed up at the last minute to help and wound spending alot of time trying to help out central campus. Which was a GREAT sucsess.(More to come on what they got and will be doin (raising Jelly Fish for one). But being able to talk to the speakers and Brett and everyone else while driving them to and fro was AWESOME!! I will be going to DFW next year to enjoy myself as well. Also, look for updates on the Smouse School tank from Bud and Dave and nyself real soon!!!
I know this was a ramble and covered many different topics but I had SO much to say and just thought I would do it all now. I HAVE to get more than 4-5 hours sleep tonight! Once again THANKS TO ALL, YOU ROCKED IT!!!
