Sea Cucumbers

So I decided to grab a cuke at FF and just had a few questions. Do these guys like to hide (like everything newly introduced)? I ask because I added mine to the tank and I haven't seen him since. Tank is pretty small, a BC29 ( but so is the cuke). Just thought I'd see him a bit more is all. I am getting myself slightly worried about "cuke nuke" potentially being a problem, although I don't see any signs of issues in the tank.

 

i got one also, he was out in the open for the first night but has vanished since then. i wouldnt worry unless your water becomes cloudy or you see any signs of stress in the tank

 

ya mine came out again today, so i wouldn't be concerned

 

Still haven't seen him since I introduces him to the tank but everything looks great. Maybe he comes out at night (or just when I am not home which is most of the day lol)

 

ive thought about getting one but, ive heard they can  e kinda hard to keep and IF it dies it will nuke the tank... is it true?
