   I awoke today to find my newest orange starfish being consumed by a coral. I was able to remove it without using much force. The starfish has been limping around the tank ever since this with only a few legs. The unused legs just kind of dangal there and wave in the current.
   
   Is my starfish doomed or is there hope that he could recover?

   you ever get the chocolate chip one out of there? they eat other starfish and coral. as far as that one goes, the leg will regrow. but then again i feel your tank is much to immature to support them long anyway.

   I have not yet done anything with him but he has yet to cause any problems. When he tries something I will move him. The starfish that was almost eaten is an orange one.
