120w leds on a 29 bc

    Would 120w non dimmable leds in the hood of a biocube fry my corals?

    i would say it could likely fry your corals. A dimmable fixture is the way to go IMO. On the off chance it won't fry the corals you would be fine with that fixture, but if its way too much light you're screwed. Where as a dimmable fixture you could just turn it down if you start bleaching stuff.

    A friend had it that id get cheap but i wanna focus on the 75

    I have a 85 watt ficture that is only at 45 percent.. Some of the zoas did not like it at first.. Slowly bringing it up and the PAR readings were off the charts
