    Hello All,
Again I have come to a time where I could really use the sale of this tank to pay for a bunch of medical debt. The tank is a dual center overflow oceanic 144g halfmoon tank  ( just like the tank at Iowa Pet Food ) This tank will come with a 75 gallon sump, as well as a 20g clarity plus sump,   a current usa pc light fixture that will need new bulbs, a large 96w uv sterilizer and a MR3 skimmer with forced head collection cup for easy of fitting under a stand. The skimmer will need a pump as well. I have 3 pumps that will come with this tank as well, the mag pump that came with the tank ( not sure on size ) and a aqueon pump 3000 (rated at 630 ) and a lifeguard quitetone 2200 (rated 594) both of these pumps have never seen water bnib.  The tank does not have a stand but would make a wonderful in wall tank, or if you have the wood working skills a stand could not be to crazy to knock out. The tank is in great shape and I really don't want to part with it but getting caught up on bills is more important right now. I would like $1500 obo for the tank. I am located on the West side of Des Moines. The tank itself is all glass and weights in at about 800lbs so you will need help moving it. I will include pictures here but you are more then welcome to come and look at the tank or if you want more pictures  please send a pm with a a phone number and I would be happy to send you .

So I am really in need to clam medical bankruptcy and this tank needs to be sold, still asking $1,500 which will cover my lawyer fees ... I truly hate to sell this tank, its been a dream of mine to get it up and going but with all the surgeries I had and the two more that will need to be done I just cant justify keeping it right now. This would make a sweet tank to due an in wall setup with and is truly an awesome tank to be seen once its up and running. Please pm with any questions, I can get more pictures if needed and measurements as needed as well. I would like to sell this as a whole package, please let me know.

    Thank you
    Derek C.

dude...just set it up and get it cycling with some rock and forget about it. After you recover from surgery and find and alternate method to pay of for you medical bills you will have a perfectly cycled tank ready!! Just think about all of the therapeutic benefits the tank will offer you during recovery!

As much as I would love to, she has to go :-/ cash is just to tight not to get rid of it, my car is next on the list lol. I would truly love to set this beast up and at the very least do a FOWLR tank but I just don't see that in the cards right now. I always wanted to set it up with some big bad triggers and a harlequin tusk, the way that the bow font slightly magnifys the tank really makes the fish look larger and your able to get a more detailed look, I think they would have looked beasty in it.

I am not sure bumps are going to do it. Even 50% of what you are asking for this is nuts IMHO

Not to sound like a jerk, but why would you say that? If you price the tank retail plus all the stuff with it there is no way the price is to far off. If you go to Seascapes and ask them what it would cost to get this exact tank I think you would be quite surprised . I'm only asking what I have paid for the tank and the equipment to get back out of the tank what I have put into it.

Are you sure on the weight? 800 lbs for just the tank seems off. The new glass tank at Grove & Platt weighed in at 350 and that's with a 3/4" Starphire front.

It very well could be, I just took the word of the guys that brought it in the house lol. I was still sick, so I have never physically picked up the tank myself. I would more then venture to say though your right Bud and its lighter. I figured I would give the high estimate that was given to me when it was brought in.

Sal, exactly what are you trying to prove by posting that link? That you have the capability to search the internet for a similar deal? Seriously bad etiquette. If you are not interested in buying, then DON'T POST on someone else's sell thread!!

Thank you Bud, I know the net is pretty unpersonalized so its hard to take someones word but I swear there is no extra money I am getting out of this tank. I just want what I put into it, I have been always willing to try and work a deal with someone too. If I didnt need the cash this beast would not go anywhere, even empty it draws people in so I could only imagine once it was all full and going full tilt. Thanks everyone for taking the time to look at my add, if you have any questions about the tank or want more pictures or want to try and work out a deal please pm.
