2 Gal Pico

FTS  12oz Water bottle for size reference.

Modified overflow to maximize surface skimming, replaced original "Dolphin" 25GPH pump with MiniJet-606 (153GPH)
Added Hydor 25W heater to keep temp steady. Room to drop in a bag of Purigen if I decide to add a fish.







The goal of this Pico is to have it be a Mangrove Bonsai with misc schrooms (shocker right).  It is looking good as the mangrove pod after only 2 weeks has begun to sprout roots!







This Pico is on the nightstand next to my bed. Its funny how in my 150= Gal reef setup i barely even notice the tiny hitchhikers. However in a Pico tank they can be at star!

Thanks Pete! I also have a nano that was pretty expensive to setup and maintain, but this little simple all in one tank was under $100 including all the mods. Finding the tank on craigslist saved the most money. Everything in this little pico was just extra stuff from my main tank. As the tank matures we might see some sexy shrimp in there!
