2011 Meet Schedule!

Here's a tentative look at the 2011 meet schedule, of course dates, times and topic are subject to change, as you will see many meetings have two options for meet topics which will be determined largely by member input.
Each topic will be explained in detail prior to the event when we ask you to weigh in on a poll to help us choose which topic we want to do for the given meet.

-Saturday 23-Apr Coral Fragging Demo / Topic: Probiotics and Ultra Low Nutrient Systems

-Saturday 11-Jun Tank Tour and Backyard BBQ

-Tuesday 19-Jul Social - Location TBD (....sorry...this one didn't happen !)
-Saturday 20-Aug Topic - Reef Controllers
-Friday 9-11 Sep MACNA - Des Moines
-Saturday 8-Oct Tank Tour - Iowa City/Coralville
-Saturday 5-Nov Topic - DIY Fish / Coral Food
-Saturday 3-Dec Christmas Party - Location TBD

Yep that's the consensus among the board, although there has been some squabbling about it. It's likely that it will come up for debate again later in the year when we have a better grasp on the situation, but right now everybody is stressed out enough with MACNA.

 

I think the BBQ + Social are redundant don't you? anybody in favor of adding a workshop/lecture in place of the social? That would be a good time of year for me to put something more elaborate together.

 

Yup I think we're all agree to move the tank tour to the 9th! I'll post the announcement thusly!!
