29 gallon biocube hqi...

    does anyone have any experience with the biocube hqi 29gallon??? i am thinking of buying one but have a couple of questions.. how good is the lighting?? does the tank get hot from the metal halide??? does it have moonlights??? how well does it do with corals??? is it even sufficient?? please let me know anything about this that anybody knows!!!

    I have oceanic hqi29 with 14k MH,it does get too hot in the summer but if it'd be placed at the basement most probably it'd be ok.14k light is just ok but not at its best if uve got corals(growth-wise is fine but corals doesnt really show off their natural color).anyways,i ended up getting the onyx led fixture,lovely.moonlight is not enough either,filter i improvised since i was changing the cartridge every 1 1/2 wks before.

    I have a bio 29 pc and a nano 29 hqi. I like the bio with the pcs and can keep anything in that tank. Everything grows awesome with no heat issues. thinktank is right your gonna have heat issues in that small of a tank.
