Using your stand as inspiration. I just finished my 2x4 skeleton for my 150g. Did you make the trim yourself or did you buy prefab? If prefab, where did you get it? :)

Hope you did not make your 2x4 skelaton like mine! Won't hold a 150g but anyway...the trim was purchased at Mendards, both the top and bottom pieces and even the wooden dowl corners. Also they have prefab doors that you can buy made out of oak for about 25.00 each. I just figured since my doors were already stained and finished that i would use a bit more fancy trim.

HAHA, I guess I phrased that wrong. The skeleton I did myself. I just found this post and saw how easily the finished wood came along and figured I would use that idea. I am playing with maybe adding some marine grade plywood before the finished would just in case of splash and such. Definitely like what you did with the trim though. :)

Ya you had me worried for a second! All i could imagine was 150g of water on your floor because the tank crushed the stand! :) Yes i agree skinning and finishing this stand was easy! IT was really simple and came out better than i could of imagined!

Traded about 15 zoa frags for a new light. It is a PFO hood, 250w ballast, 2x28W PC actinics and a XM 250W 20k bulb! The colors really POP with this setup! I have just rigged it up there for right now as i am now getting ready to move yet again to Cherokee, IA!
so here are some new pics!

3 new additions within the last couple days!

First off, i got a new wrasse not sure of its origin or type, but looks to be some sort of fairy wrasse. Great looking color!

The second is a damsel with colorations i have never seen before.

And last but not least is a flame angel! He was in my buddies SPS tank and was nipping, so I gave him a try!
