Well the tank didn't sell in a timely manner, so as I promised myself I would, at the very least, get a FOWLR going since 99% of the cost of having one is behind me (as is much of the setup). What I was wanting to see is if anyone can give me some PEST FREE liverock to borrow. A lot of people getting rid of rock lately but all seem to have aiptasia or other things going on with it. I am still battling flatworms that I am thinking came in from a rock I got around xmas time for my nano and I just don't want to deal with anything like that. (At the moment I don't really have too many plans for corals, but want to keep those doors open as the fish I am looking at getting will be reef safe anyhow) Of course I would be happy paying for some as well, I just haven't had much luck asking in that manner! It doesn't have to look nice as it is only for seeding purposes. I am pretty happy with the way I had aquascaped my rock, so I probably wouldn't want to keep it 'forever' regardless. Looking for something with some good life/coralline on it at an accumulate 25lbs or so. Larger chunks of rubble might even work just fine for this application.

Bela, I'm not sure too many people are going to want to let you borrow their pest free rock to be put into a tank that you just said has flatworms. I think you'd be better off looking to buy rock or simply get a cup of someone's sand to seed your entire tank. It only takes a cup or so of live sand...

    Adam,
I think you misread my post. I was trying to sell a 150g tank (as I am sure you know since you frequent the forums), but it didn't sell so I plan to continue with the setup. I need to seed this tank, but do not want to use rock from my nano, which is what has the worms. The rock I am wanting to "borrow" would go into an unseeded tank filled with dry rock. That said, I also clearly stated in the body of my post that I would have no issues paying for it, I simply don't want to list yet another wtb liverock thread. I wouldn't be needing to seed a tank with flatworms in it anyway, now would I? /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif
