"scum" in center chamber of sump

    ive got a film on the top of my water in the middle chamber of my sump. should i add a small powerhead to that area?

    small p-h, filter w/o media/pad or with, or, if your divider at the end of that section allows flow under rather than over it will build up as the top isnt agitated by flow of sump. if ya put a divider that flows over top or a 3div bubble trap that flows over top first that would cure it also w/o any power consumption. If ya want one I have a bunch of divider sized glass, u can have one if ya want

    the sump has 4 dividers in it now, i wanna add a skimmer so im affraid if i add any more it wont fit

    doesnt need to be spaced alot for a trap, just to let water flow over instead of under at the end, mine have single baffles at the end flowing over, first one i built was different and had the same issue, buildup on top of water. I guess it would be easier to throw in a power head.... I like building sumps so thats why the re-baffle idea, but the sump would be outta commission for a few, or build another one and have a spare on hand /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif How r ur baffles setup?
