Building up a 46 gallon bowfront that was given to me. Use to do reef tanks and help a friend in a store back in 05-06 but a lot has changed since then. This setup will be mostly soft corals with 50lbs of live rock, 40lbs of pink fiji sand, Jebao rw-4 powerhead (maybe 2? any recommendations on using two instead of 1?) as well as 6 39watt t5 florescent. The heater I'm using is a 150 watt Eheim glass heater.

I have a 10 gallon tank thats cycled I was going to use as a QT tank as I learned the hard way in the past that you should use one.
Anyone have any recommendations as far as using a refugium vs a sump? Looking to set the tank up in more of a natural filtration sense! Will get some pictures posted soon as I get the tank stand stained!
