75Gal Reef Up and Running - Starting to think about stocking

    Now that I have my 75 up and running with live rock and sand, I'm starting to think about stocking...


    This is what I'm leaning towards , and feel free to make suggestions since I'm still early in planning-


    #1. Kole Tang... where is a good place to find these??


    #2. Pair of clowns (not sure what kind yet, and I'd like to have an anemone for them)


    #3. Coral Beauty


    #4. Flame Angel (I know there's a potential of conflict between the angels, but it appears it sometimes works. If it doesn't, one can be moved to my 29g)


    #5. Jawfish - probably a pearly


    #6. Yellow watchman and pistol shrimp (believe a 75g allows enough floor space for this pair and a jawfish to have their own territories)

    Id wait til fall fest to get a pair of clowns from booyahs. Keep an eye on the angels in case they go after corals. Petco seems to carry kole tangs the most from what ive seen.

    Live aquaria also has Kole tangs, and you get the guarantee from them also. I'm sure AC&C could order one for you as well.

    Agree on Booyha's for the clownfish. He always has a good selection and you can hand pick the ones you like.

    I agree with waiting for the clowns until Fall Fest :0) This will also give your tank more time to mature... for a nem. Nems are usually available at the Fests also ;0)
