Did you hang the lights? Does the extra 6" stand out much?

Awesome light. I am a bit jealous. I saw a bunch of these fixtures in a lfs in Escondido CA. They are great lights.

I'm pretty excited about it. Used for less than 1 year and got it for less than half of retail. I had to drive 3.5 hours one way for it though haha.

HAHA. That's a pretty long drive for a light. The lengths we'll go through for this hobby.

Once I get water in it Ill check the par. Im guessing its going to be higher since its a power module. I heard they produce 10% more light than the sun powers. Also the LEDs in the fixture are crazy bright. ill also hang it 10"-12" above the water.

Reviving the thread. Got busy with life so it got put on the back burner. I have a bunch of shelf pieces in the tank that I made from tonga shelf rock and tonga branch. The tank is currently cycling right now I'm in the diatom bloom stage.

Here is the manifold to run all my equipment off my return pump. Hooking up to a chiller, Avast Vibe, and Vertex calcium reactor.

Latest thing I worked on tonight was one of my control boards. I need to figure out how I want to do wire management yet along with how to mount the power supplies. This is one half on the other side Ill have another board with the rest of the electrical.

Also I tried the gyre, but I don't like how the sand gets blown to one side or the flow pattern. I decided to buy new MP40QDs to replace the gyres. My ATO will be ran by my Cerebra with optical sensor and float switch set to an outlet with a pump on it. Also decided to go with a Avast Vibe instead of the Zeolight reactor. I added a JBJ 1/5hp chiller and a Finnex 500w heater controlled by the Cerebra.

Planning on buying 1 or 2 Pacific Sun Dosers to automatically dose the KZ zeo additives. Pacific sun came out with a magnetic stirrer that mounts below their doser. Stirs the solution up right before dosing.

When I get the Vibe online, I'll be removing the Vertex Zeolight from the first chamber. Im thinking about making that into fuge with red and blue macro algae.

I agree with your comments on the gyre, but have been too lazy to replace it.
