AC&C Closing during the week

    Andrew has been lured back to his culinary roots. If anyone is in the store this week, wish him well.





    Unfortunatly I have another full time business I cant leave, so instead of closing the doors altogether we will now only be open on the weekends.


    Saturday hours will be 1pm-6pm and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm.





    This may change if I can find some competent part time help.

    Yes Andrew was one of the premiere chefs in the Waterloo area before he decided to get his hands wet.

    Much of the store systems runs by itself with the APEX and auto top offs. I will be refining it even more with autofeeders. I will still stop on my way home from work every day to check in on things and will probably install a camera so I can keep an eye on coral and fish from my computer at work.

    Please keep in mind all, the store isn't closing permanently, just week days, so PLEASE support your local fish store for all your supplies.
    I know Craig will be more then happy to order in the supplies we all use.

    Sorry to hear that. I responded to your facebook post regarding this yesterday. Hopefully everything works out for you. A thought i had was possibly recruiting part time help from UNI's biology program and offering them internship hours on top of hourly wages to keep your store up and running. Once you get some college recruits you could see what their schedule is and keep ACC up and running according to your part time helps college schedule...may not be perfect or the way it was but you could have a "call ahead of time schedule" for ACC for customers to see if anyone will be there running it.

    Another idea is to possibly post as much of your inventory online on your website as possible and keep it up to date and take phone orders or phone holds on items and schedule times for customers to pick up. Just some thoughts i had as ive been thinking about this alot since yesterday and i hope the best for you.
