AC3 issue

    My halides didnt fire and i dont know why, so now my tank temp is under 70 degrees. I dont know what happened and i dont know why it would do that. they program says they r on, but they r not!

    umm... someone set it up for me.. i dont think i have it =(

    im gunna head home in a minute to see what is going on.

    ok. got it figured out and it wasnt the AC3 at all.. the outlet that the halides were on was not working.. so... all is well =)

    Was the heater on the same outlet?
    I would think the heater should have kicked on if the halides fail. Might want to rearrange some outlets so the issue doesn't happen again.

    If I was a betting man, I'd say that she meant that her DC8 was on one circuit and her AC3 head unit on another. The AC3 was probably sending the commands to the DC8 which was not able to do anything without power. The Apex generation is able to detect if an EB goes down and you can set up alerting accordingly. That's not available in the AC3 generation and also not available if you're using a DC8 on an Apex. Has to be EB8 and Apex in order to detect power outage to an EB.

    The only item that was plugged into a different outlet were the halides. I am not real sure why the heater didnt come on...
