   So this is probably a known fact for most of you, but I ran into it this weekend so I thought I would post it. 
   I was having some troubles controlling certain outlets on my DC8.  The AC3 would say that they were off, but the DC8 would not turn off power to them.  A bit of troubleshooting and reading FAQs and I found the issue.  The root cause turned out to be the control cord (a.k.a the telephone cord).  AC3 control wires must have four wires, not two.  Once I replaced it with a 4 wire control cord, it worked fine.

   i have that issue on my reef keeper 2, but my problem is that it has shut off before, but it wont now /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/sad.gif
