I've been fighting some cyano for some time now and after far too long I finally purchased a TDS meter and found out my "RO" water from Hy-Vee typically has 98 ppm. I've googled around and it sounds like the proper water I need is < 2 ppm so obviously I'm not even close. This HAS to be my problem, right? All my water tests are in check.

Take a look what I have going on in my 29 Biocube --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kw-RdmOqc-Q

Other than buying my own system, where can I get a dependable source of RO/DI water in Des Moines?

    Thanks!

    Yes, that is crazy.

After my RO filters my water is typically 2-4PPM when my filters are in good condition.

0 after the RO membrane? Or is that after the DI chamber?

    Marcus,

Where in DSM can I get good RO/DI water? I'm not ready to buy my own system.

    Thanks.

before the DI its usually like 5 and after 0..

I think seascapes sells it. You could hit me up i usually have 30 gallon ran out and 60 gallon mixed up we could work out something /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/satisfied.gif

we could possibly work something out if you need water. i would ask hyvee to service their water machine since the TDS is high.
