Acrylics Project - 30g Rimless Frag Display Tank

    This one will be in use at Fall Fest

    30 gallons (outside measurements) in reality about 25.  36" x 24" x 8", black bottom and baffle, may have the sides and back tinted.  Corners and top edge rounded and polished.
    This is just a quick mock-up, not shown are light fixture frame holders, frag racks, and filter media. Will post pics as the build progresses...

    why filter media ? frags are going to be in a tank for like 7-8 hrs for show pretty much same as being in a shiping bag? the 60x14x9 frag tank we got aint going to have a fillter just power heads was just wonder why you use fillter media is all thanks

    Just going to be filter floss. after seeing some of the sellers problems with cloudy water at MACNA I wanted something to take particles out of the water

    yeah I remember seeing reefkoi running an HOB stuffed with carbon/etc at shows too so it never hurts to have it, only hurts when you don't have it /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

    Things went to hell on Friday at work, PC crashed. Got too cold and the little space heater I had couldn't keep up so had to put a 240 circuit in and get a beefier heater. Have the sides bonded to the front but waiting for the warm-up to do the rest. It'll be ready for you though, I'll make sure!
