    Ok...

    bottom pinned and shimmed

While I was waiting for my help...

Rough cut filter sock holder and bio drip tray

    cross braces and tray walls

    mock-up for fit test

    Fits perfect

rounded corners for ease of removal (back filter sock is hard to get to)

Bottom cross braces bonded in place!

Right about as I finished this up, Mike showed up. Bottom on!

    is that better?

Is the Probe holder in yet or will you do that after the bottom is all finished off? Can't wait to get this in my hands to see it in person and post pics of it all setup!

Anywhere I'm not too picky. Maybe front wall offset of the auto drain bulkhead. Only needs 3 openings as I will atmost have 3 probes. To begin with will be the PH probe and my heater probe from my Ranco Temp controller.

Do you have an exact measurement of what you need for the diameter of the hole? I always forget to write down the standard probe dimension.

If you could do the following 2@ 1/2" and 1@ 1/4" would be awesome about 4" off the bottom of the sump. The CO2 probe is 1/2" and the Heater probe is 1/4" plus this would leave me one extra 1/2" for what ever comes up in the future.

    other 4 trays made
    2 of each of these
    [IMG]
larger one is the bio drip tray and the smaller one goes on top of the filter socks.
    Gotta drill the holes next.

    Trays are all done.

    bio drip trays

    filter sock drip trays

    view through drain bulkhead

a couple of filter socks in place with the drip tray on them

    only things left to do:

    Flush trim bottom
Round the vertical corners and top/euro
Flame polish the trays & take edges off baffles and holes (otherwise this stuff it worse than paper cuts)
    and...deliver

That is probably one of the best sumps I have ever seen.

    Great job Bud!

I do gotta ask though, how much? Ball park price is fine.

I priced this one at $575 but considering the additional time for the trays and bars etc I probably would have charged a little more. live and learn!
