So I have about 40-50 lbs of live rock in my 75 gal tank right now and I know I need moe. My question is, does it have to be more LIVE rock or can I add rock that will eventually become live?

You can add base rock/unlive rock and it will become live rock as you said. It is a big money saver. AC&C in Waterloo has a lot of nice base rock on hand.

You do not have to add more. Sometimes less is more. But yeah base rock is great, no pests and usually easier to work with.

Well, the tank looks a little bare. I'll probably get some more. Any suggestions for favorite kinds of base rock?
