What is considered "normal evap" in a 110g tall display and 40g sump. I have roughly 160lbs rock.

Depends on lighting, surface agitation, how warm you run your system, lots of factors. Like my 40 breeder with 20 long sump is running 2 gallons a day. Good surface agitation, 6 bulb t5, and I run my tank pretty warm at 82.

A couple gallons a day I would say.
My 250 deep dimension with lots of surface area and a big sump is around 5 gallons a day this time of year.

2-3 gallons a day for me this time of year. 120 display, 70 gallon stock at k sump, 40b frag all hooked together. Halide -t5 lights.
In summer when cooling fans are running 5-6 gallons a day.
All tanks are open top no glass lid nor canopys.

This time of the year there is more because the outside air is extremely dry. I lose 10 to 15 gallons a week in my 125.

Thanks for the replies I'm doing 2 or 3 a day I have good surface agitation it stays around 78°F. I check for signs of leaking from the new set up but found none so was curious
