I have decided to part with a few fish and would like to trade for reef safe fish or corals but may sell if nobody has anything to trade.   Please send me a PM if your interested.
Vlamingi Unicorn Tang 8"-9" Beautiful fish but seems to have taste for chromis and shrimp...Saw it eat them myself[IMG]
BlueChin Trigger  7"-8" Had a bad eye infection when I got it but is healthy now, May be blind in that eye but doesn't seem in effect it.  It's very shy and hides if anyone is near the aquarium.
    Udulated Trigger   4"-5"
    Snowflake Eel       9"-10"
Chainlink Eel      18" or so, I'm pretty much guessing here so it could be bigger, I know he's big enough to eat a fat 4" long damsel and he also killed a Snowflake Eel before I got it.
    Red Scorpionfish- 6"-7"
I will not trade/sell the Bluechin or Vlamingi unless you have at least a 125g or larger tank for them. They are large fish will and need a large home.
I'm in Des Moines and would prefer to keep trades local unless your willing to make the trip here.
    Thanks
    John

Hey, sorry I was on the phone with my girlfriend and got excited and wanted to "claim" him before anyone else did. I've got a 125 gallon tank with a 4-5" yellow tang, 5-6" regal blue tang, 6-7" green bird wrasse, two 1.5-2" clowns with their carpet anemone, a 3" mandarin, and a 3-4" lawnmower blenny. I've got a 4" porcupine puffer that I've had in quarantine from a friend that I'm hoping makes it, he still looks pretty sad. I aquascaped the tank wide open so they all have plenty of room to swim and so there's no aggression.

My girlfriend took a job in Omaha, so Des Moines is right on the way to Cedar Falls. She's planning on coming to Cedar Falls on Feb. 26th, would you be willing to wait that long and have the tang ready for her on the way through? Other wise I'll probably be heading to Omaha March 12th-15th and I could pick it up on my way back. Let me know either way. If you sell the tang before then I won't be mad, I just really love the look of the unicorn tangs!

Also, I might be interested in the blue throat trigger depending on prices of the two and availability.

PM me so we can talk about it...

    -Adam

Is that tang a Vlamingi Tang or a Unicorn Tang? They're not the same fish. Sorry if I'm confusing you, but if it's a unicorn tang it would have developed a "horn" by now. They start to develop at about 5-6". Got any pics?

The way it was explained to me on Reef Central was that there are several members on the unicornfish family and the Vlamingi is in that family.

Well they are in the same family, but it's the Naso family. So it's not a unicorn tang then? Does it have a very pronounced horn? The Vlamingi's have a big nose, but you can clearly tell it's no horn.

I might take the undulated from you. I need to figure out if he will get along with my bigger one...
