AI Led advice

    Got my hands on a par meter for a few days whats a good reading to start with top to bottom I have 2 AI Sol blues  12 inches above the water on a 90 gal aquarium a few sps on top lots of lps middle to bottom and a few clams on the bottom any advice would be helpfull so far its about 300 top 100 bottom @ 90% intensity

    That's pretty good if you are only losing 200 from top to bottom. It might be too much to start with. For some reason, the PAR of LEDs are slightly higher than what is read by a PAR meter. To acclimate your tank, I would turn them down a little.

    Ive had the lights running for about 3 months so far I started them at 40% and worked slowly to 75% and just turned them up to 85% w 90% b 90% rb today should I still turn them down if so what would you recomend

    I didn't realize you have had them for that long. If your corals have responded favorably, crank it up some more if you want.

    Minimum Par needed on the sandbed is 100 micromoles per meter square per second(shrooms, etc). From there Par should increase as you go up. I'd place the clams higher (gradually) as they require higher Par than 100.
