AI lights

65% whites, 100% blues. 10 inches from top of water

 

I know at the store I never ran the whites higher then 35. Blues always at 100. I typically only used the white for color balance as the corals make the most use out of the blue spectrum

 

Hey Donnie I have a couple questions. Which AI lights are you talking about? Also what setup are you using them on? Where do you have them place? Anymore information like that.

They have multiple lights and even if they were on the same tank I would probably have different answers for you. Also what are you looking to keep and what lighting was used on the tank previously?

 

I run my sols at 90% across. Quick question for those tho that run their whites so low, do you still please and grow your coral? As far as my vegas depending on the colors i run most of them between 60-90%.

 

The spectrum that white LEDs give off, which also includes the red and green is better for growing algae then coral imo

 

When I had two Sol on a 90 I ran my blues at 90 and then my whites at 65. This was a mix that I liked and I was getting good growth.

There are sooooo many different ways and options.
