Airshow

    There will be a Radio Control airshow at the Iowa City Aerohawks feild on July 11th. This will include some stunt flying of scale models, compititions, streamer chase and more. The feild is about 2 miles west on Melrose ave then turn south and you will see the feild, there will be sighns. Free admission.
     Just wanted to share, Shaun
     Hopefully ,if I do not crash it, again, I will fly during the show as well.

    A bit off topic, but do they have "real" air shows anywhere around here? I used to go to them all the time in Cali as a kid.

    I went to one of these a couple of years back and they were pretty cool. Do they still do the event where they try to see who can clip the streamer off of the other plane? Multiple planes in the air hoping that it doesn't turn into a demolition derby.

    I think okoboji area is having an airshow next week. I know I saw an ad for it while I was up their last week.

    Yes they still do the streamer chase. It is pretty cool.
