What does everybody feed there anemones and how often?
Now before I get beat up here for asking a question on the forum and not using the Reefers Q&A, is because I've tried in the past and when I go to "Post Question" I get a box that tells me to choose a "Tag", I don't have a clue what this means.
Feel free to help me out here. Thx, John

A tag is basically something that someone might search for that would be relevant for the topic you created. So for that topic you could just tag it with anemone and be done with it.

I never feed mine. I just feed my fish a lot of food and they catch what the fish don't eat out of the water column

When I was feeding my RBTA the color was a little better, and it grew and split faster.
Now I just let it do it's own thing and I gets on just fine. Not feeding has also improved my water quality... Big plus

I used to feed mine twice a week, then as it grew i went to once a week and then to once a month now once every two months if at all. He is huge. When all puffed up probably 16 inches in diameter if not more. Tenticles get 6-8 inchs long. Just awesome to watch him flow. I fed/feed him silver sides when I do. Started with 1/4 then moved to half then to full now I'll fee him 2 but I am pretty sure I haven't fed him since christmas when showing my father in law how it eats.

  8. Just like the others John, I also RARELY feed mine. I think I fed my Long tentacle anemone about 6 weeks ago and when I do feed it I use a partial piece of a silverside.

I don't feed mine either. I have 2 black ice clowns that don't leave it. I've heard they actually bring the fish food to it?

I drop in flakes too large for my maroon clown to eat and he alternates dragging them to his two anemones. They seem to love the flake food but not sure they really need anything.

I feed my long tentacle once a week. I usually Rod's Foods and it loves that stuff. The day after i feed it it's all opened up fully and just looks like it's loving life.
