    Wells thats kinda what I figgured but,99% of my rock was put in as dry base rock and only one rock that I aquired from another member (had a frag on it ).and I have 5 other frag disks in my tank... How do you figgure I got him?

    He came on that piece of LR or the frag plugs. There's oodles of stuff on our LR that we never see.

    Thanks.... I guess I'm still at the "amazed" stage of my reef tank... always looking to see whats new...

    I have been in it almost a decade, and I am still amazed, it doesnt wear off.

    I'm not sure if this is true but I heard from someone that little starfish can munch on SPS corals... Anyone know anything more about that?

    90% off the time they wont.  Usually if you see them eating on an SPS, they sps was diseased or weak in that spot.
    They do eat alot of coraline algae.
    If they get too bad, Harlequin shrimp will eradicate them.

    I actually had a single asterina star pop up on my tank about 8 months AFTER I added anything to it. Amazing what new things you can find.

    looks like an asterina star, you will have a bunch of them soon I bet DIDO, They can spred like the pleg, If it were me I would remove them as I see them. It is cool to see new things in the tank, not that these do any real harm they just multiply like crazy. one minute you see 3 or 4 the next thing you know there are hundreds! 
    I know I've been dealing with them as of lately. I take out about 50 to 60 every other day. the numbers are dwindeling but they are still there.
