    I looking at a timer but the specs for power read as follows;

    Alternate day-night cycles.
    Voltage: 160V-240V

    Max Load 16 A 3680W

    So my question is what the geckos is 160V...?
    Does anyone know a country or location that uses that schema...?

    Is this a typo and the units going to come with a standard 115 240 selector...?

    Sounds foreign to me.. Sometimes paying alittle more at a local store might pay off with something like that. .5 amps will kill ya, exspecially if your playing in water. I have been getting outdoor timers from Menards, they have 2 heads and work quite well.

    Some foreign countries wire up 220 as a standard. 16 amps / 3680 watts is definitely 220. Is this something your ordering online?

    If it seems suspect move on and go with something your comfy with

    I'm the western hemisphere we use 110 +-5% @ 60Hz

    Eu side uses 230+-10% @50Hz

    So I was wondering what our where 160 would sit. Manufacturer confirmed a typo and it's EU spec only so 50Hz

    And thanks for the tip Ryan! I run a couple of those on the 40. The idea here is to eliminate as many timers as possible.

    Yeah that's about where I am leaning... Been at this a long time without one but if nothing else the other control is going to be awesome. And truth be told if I added the timers in the house up I probably have spent enough for two controllers.

    Really don't matter how long you been at it. I have been in saltwater for only a few years, but freshwater I have + 20 years under my belt. It has been by far the best money I have spent. Any time you want to come check out my Apex at work in on my setup let me know.
