Well, summer is in full swing and I am noticing the general drop in group buys and such. I need to get a CUC in my tank as I started over a bit due to an aiptasia infestation (and the fact that I only had rock and some clowns in my tank). If there are any group buys I would love to get in on one. If not, I am willing to orchestrate one. I have no real preference of site. I am looking at a simple CUC and will probably have an order between $30 and $50.

I realized I had a $25 credit from reefs2go, so I plan on ordering from there unless anyone else has plans to order elsewhere.

I'll probably pick this up. This will only be $16 after the discount and credit has been applied. I will have free shipping this way, so if anyone wants in, let me know! I am going to order tonight or tomorrow morning.

I need some snails too. Too bad you're not in this area or I would have ordered.

Just a heads up, I have purchased from there twice in the last 5 months, but had horrible results. The first one was due to colder weather, and the heatpacks that were more than expired when the package arrived. The second order I can't explain other than it took too long to ship, it was very mild weather, and perfect conditions. I would not recommend the free shipping from Florida, it has always ended up fatal for the livestock. My current credit with them is over 80$, and the order was 110$ I'm not saying they failed, but I did, I wa too tight to pay for the overnight shipping, which no matter what is not overnight to me.

Actually this was the first place I ever ordered online from, a couple years ago, and was impressed. The fish I ordered arrived great back then, but for some reason, the last couple orders ended up in sad shape, and they were all picked up right away from my porch, so I can't blame anything other than too much time shipping. So, splurge for the overnight, and your stuff may show up alive.

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered from them last October and had a fantastic experience. The only negative was they were out of cleaner shrimp (someone else ordered) so I got credited the value of the shrimp. I have $25 to burn, so I figure $16 isn't a huge loss. I was pretty sure that all they did was overnight shipping, unless you live in Florida?

Humm...I ordered the same cleaner shrimp in early May...but they did not have them in stock then either...along with 50$ worth of other stuff. They do not ship overnight, unless you pay for overnight. I was all over their site, and discovered that unless you request overnight, their free shipping is just standard USPS, which to my neck of the woods took 4 days.

The first order I thought was because bad (snow) weather, but the next order was in perfect weather conditions, and still took 4 days. I am not blaming them at all, but go for overnight if you are going to order from FL. Their stock has always been top notch if shipped properly. GL

I've heard both horrible and great experiences with Reefs2Go. In my opinion, it's a crap shoot. They do have the best prices that I've seen. I guess my advice would be to order with caution knowing that you could be flushing your money down the toilet. For what it's worth, their BBB rating is F.
