Anyone able to align a satellite near North Liberty?

    That storm we got yesterday nocked our directv dish out of alignment. I called directv last night and they said they wouldn't be able to get anyone out here for a week and a half.. obviously I'm a little upset about missing the rest of the olympics. I've been trying to align the dish myself but have no experience in this area and have had no luck so far. Does anyone have any experience with this and would be willing to help out? I'd be willing to pay in cash and/or beer!

    when they first came out i had one on my truck when i was over the road it took two to align it. There was an option in the menus on receiver i just pointed in the general direction of satellite and when i started get close to signal wife would yel, then i would make very slow adjustments to achieve or get as close as possible to 100%. That many years ago but i would think its still the same if theres a alignment feature in the reciever.

    How is your tank coming? Last time I was there you had lost a bunch of fish and had to start over. Dropped off the Par meter and picked up a few nice frags and that R/O system. I owe you one man.

    I just got my Direct TV installed today with little notice. You might try calling an actual installer. Down right Satellite installled my setup (319-431-3313).
