Extremely excited lol now all I need is some type of mixing container to store rodi and salt water and I'm good to go! I also want to start looking at auto top offs

  12. depending on how much water you need on hand travis for water changes and topoff i would find some 5 to 30 gal water containers and make a small mixing/storage station with plumbing i made one using the 44 gal brute cans for 100$ and bought a used mag 5 for 20 to run and circulate it. that price included the 2x4 stand and the plywood top

I use brute cans. Have a 44 gal for ro water storage and have a 20 gallon brute for mixing saltwater. I dont go thru enough to need to store premade saltwater. Maybe some day ill be bored and build somethin. But for now just get a brute or somethin. I keep the 44 full and stored under my ro unit. And as far as top offs I have been using a gravity fed with a float valve for a few months with perfect results. Not sure if thatd work on your biocube tho...tanks lookin good by the way

I have mine in laundry room. Have it to a t comin to washer and each side has a manual shutoff. Eventually ill buy the float valve and stuff so I wont to shut it off by hand

I dont use a ton of water so its not too bad doin it by hand. The kids have a few freshwater tanks so I use ro for their tanks too

Just be warned, you will forget to shut it off at some point and you will have a small flood. Happens to everyone, sometimes more than once /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/crazy.gif, before they spend the $10 on a float valve.
