Anyone have a 55 gallon sized freshwater stuff?

    A friend is putting together a 55 gallon tank for her 10 year old daughter for christmas. I know I had a lot of freshwater stuff just sitting around after I went to salt, just curious if anyone has a hood and/or fluorescent light, undergravel filter, or a properly sized canister filter that they wouldn't mind parting with.

    I have a 4 foot fluorescent light, takes a single 4 ft bulb. Meant to go with a glass cover. Where are you located?

    I have some stuff in good shape still sitting around that might be of use. I've got two 24" glass tops, a dual-bulb 4ft T5 fixture that would look great on a fresh tank-it'd easily grow freshwater plants if they decide to go that route. I've also got a great canister that I just recently took off my saltwater system, it's comparable to a Fluval 4. I've also got a few heaters - 300wat Rena, 200watt Marineland and maybe even some more stuff I've forgot about. Let me know if you're interested in anything.

    Ah, I'm in Des Moines, by the way.

    Tony I see you're in Altoona. I'm trying to find some good stuff for someone else and don't really have an idea of what they're wanting to spend, but at the same time am trying to get it set up right for them from the start. Would you let me know what you'd like individually for the glass tops, light, canister, and a heater?

    Vikubz, I do get to Cedar Falls every once in a while and may take you up on that.
