Looking to find someone with an extra eb8 laying around that I could pick up for relatively inexpensive.

Wholesale cost on a new one is 100-135 depending on the time and Id really like to find one used for well under that. Lemme know.

    Thanks!

Good luck. That seems to be the used market price. 80-90 on eb4 100-120 on eb8. I tried to get the eb4 that was on here last week and it went for 80 I think and I believe the first thing sold . They seem to hold their value well for a power strip.

I agree. Most used eb8s run around 120 from what I have seen. I have tried buying them used but for a few bucks more I usually just get new.

Yep just get a new one. Not worth the gamble to save so little.

6 are, simply put, computer controlled outlets that use soft start built for pumps. The other two are relays. Your paying for the limited market share. There is not many other applications that require outlet controls based on time temp salinity and pH.
But yes, I wanted another DC8 for this Neptune controller (pre apex) and they are still 80-90 on eBay and reef2reef forums usually rusted cases. I'm tempted to get a reef angel. A little more complicated programming but plenty of forum support.
