Anyone have problems viewing forum?

It was brought to my attention by a new member (b_braz) that he could not see the main forum homepage that one would normally see when clicking the "Forums" link on the navigation bar at the top of the page. The page loads to the point where the "Unanswered-Not Read-My Topics-Active Topics" links show, and everything bleow that is just white blank space. I saw this myself by logging into his account (with his permission while on the phone)


He can see the "active topics" list, and get to the sub-forums from there, but just cannot "see" the main forum page that lists all the categories. It's a really odd issue.


This happens to him while logged in, and has been occurring since he became a member of the site on 12/9. I looked into this a bit last night and couldn't find any particular red flag that might be causing it, so I wanted to find out if this is happening to anyone else. In particular, anyone who paid their dues in person (at an event, a fest, etc) and has subsequently had their membership manually activated.


Please report if you have also seen this occur.

 

So this started happening to you right after you renewed your membership? It was fine before?

 

I couldn't figure out what was wrong with b_braz' account. we ended up making him a new one.

 

I e-mail Joe and JB about these issues. Unless they know what is going on and can fix it quickly, I think we are going to have to just work around it.

I don't know why the 404 issue comes up.
