I had a RKE that I sold. Just received the RKL that will do what I want for the FOWLR. It might help if you would say what you are trying to do with it. I never got into the more complicated stuff like saving certain groups and strings of things to happen at certain times (which you essentially set up by doing timers on top of timers on top of timers), but I did certainly get everything working properly. Let me know what you are doing and I may be able to help.

I got it figured out actually today. I took sometime and actually started looking at things and it all hit me pretty quick. Very easy and simple to setup, but intimidating at first.

Yea I did. I got a Reef Keeper Lite Basic Model and after I got it setup it is awesome. I will never have a tank without one, right now my lights are setup, and the heater is setup and works flawless and stays dead on, also my pump is setup and I can turn it off to feed its crazy.

What are all the additional components that you needed to get - besides the basic control module?  DC4 or DC8, probes ???? ?????  I've been thinking about getting one for a long time, but just haven't gotten around yet to seriously looking for one.  Did you get a used one from a club member?

Actually the DC8/DC4 is the netune aqua controller stuff. Digital Aquaitics puts out the reefkeeper lite, and they put it in a couple different way to get it. They are 100$ and come with one pc4, itemp probe, and head unit. Then you can buy modules to do about anything and everything you want, which they range from 50-100$. But I got mine from Snowman which was used, and like I said I will never go back. But I can let you more come tank tour time and I can give you a honest opinion and see if I have had any glitches.
