Anyone need a ride to Spring Fest?

    I am going solo so I have plenty of room.  The only hitch is, I need to be back in the area around 7 or so.

    Well, it starts at 12 so we would need to leave at 10 and head back at 5 so i can be back here by 7.

    I'm planning on being there to help setup at 9, so on the road by 7 if anyone wants to ride with me and help setup...

    Well i might ride with Adam on the way down, and Jeremy on the way back. I have to be back for an 11pm clinical. That sound good?

    Yea man, be at my place by 7. Is your girlfriend coming with? I'm just going to bring a small cooler and a few things I'm getting rid of, so there's plenty of room for 4-5 people(including myself).

    Well, that depends on where you live.  I was kind of hoping people that were interested could park here so I don't have to play taxi driver when i get back in town.
    I NEED to be home no later than 7.  That might mean leaving during or before the raffle.  So keep that in mind.

    thats true i didnt think about that. I'll see when adams coming back and if its too late for me maybe i can ride with you down and back

    Sam, I plan on taking off around 7AM, I would like to clean and usually the BOD goes out to eat afterwards, so it might get late for me. Sorry man, but it would probably work best to drive over to Jeremy's and ride with him both ways. You will definitely get to see a very nice tank while you're there too.

    BOD usually goes out to eat after events now? If that's the case, this club should owe me a bunch of meals.

    Jeremy, I remember you asking me if you were coming out to eat with everyone on the board after Fall Fest? How would you not have known about this?

    That was the FIRST and ONLY time that the BOD has ever been treated to a meal from the club.
    I guess I didn't know it was going to turn into a tradition.
    Anyway, Sam if you need a ride I am leaving at 10 am Sat. morning, PM if your interested and I'll give you my address.

    That's the only time I know of too, I was just saying it's a possibility I guess. Sorry that was the only time I knew of, I wasn't sure if they would do it again or not.

    Its not an ongoing tradition. The tradition is the bod going to dinner with the speakers to get some one on one time with them.

    It will be dutch with everyone paying for their own so there is no confusion. Club pays for the speakers.

    OK, I'm better now.  I guess I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions.  I was thinking I was gonna miss out on another free steak dinner, you guys know how I am about food.  LOL

    No one else ballsy enough to ride with me? It's not like we are gonna take gravel roads and drink the whole way home....although that does sound fun.

    O sorry I guess I said it in a way that made it sound like they were gonna pay for everything. I was just talking about what Craig was saying, taking the speakers out for supper. haha, sorry for the confusion Jeremy.

    Jeremy, I would also like to add, if you do want to buy raffle tickets I can separate mine and yours and you can let me know what you want, I know you said you might have to leave before it's over. I'd be willing to pick anything up that you win and bring it back with me.     Ya know, you really didn't I just made the assumption that's what was going on.  I just thought being we were at the point where there will hopefully be excess revenue and the BOD was going to start treating themselves more.  I guess in a way I'm a little bitter because I was on the BOD when this club wasn't more than 20 people and we didn't have squat, now it's all cool and happinin' and in way I guess I kind of miss it.
    As far as the raffle, at this point I don't really want or need anything from the raffle.  For once, I actually have everything I need to satisfy my reef habit besides more coral and I am just going to buy that.  I guess some GC's would be nice we'll see.  Thanks for the offer.
