This form factor of fixture is popping up all over the place lately, I've seen these in WW, growth-spectrum, etc, this is the first one I've seen with dual chips though.

@ricowind67@ricowind67 where did you get the 100W ones at? I don't see those listed on their site.

Seems really white. I think this would be good paired with a couple of reefbreeder type fixtures. Are they dimmable by chance?

  5. They do not come dimmable

Wow that's not bad! I'll be interested to see some follow up info and pics as to how your corals do under these. I've seen them on eBay and thought about putting one or two over a 30" deep hexagon I have but I just wasn't sure if they'd cut the mustard for an sps tank. These are 100w total right, 50w white and 50w actinic?

  10. 2 50 watters at 20,000k

  11. Just an update on the Act. 03 10 watt that failed, e-mailed the company,.they sent a new one and didn't ask for the old one back, received in 4 days,..nice to see they stand by them, but will they make the long haul,...

  12. Update on 03 Act. Fixture: The recent one that was faulty and replaced, I received the new one on Wednesday and that one was faulty, after taking the fixture apart, troubleshooting revealed that the fixture had faulty wiring (showing open on line side with multi-meter). I replaced the wiring on both fixtures and soldered the connections (the New replacement and older faulty one), both work fine.

My take is if you buy these lights, which I think overall they have good components, and will suffice being used on the Reef. But the company that manufactures these fixtures via EBAY seems to have manufacturing/assembly issues, that being said, I would replace the cords, and solder connections.

If you want a decent light and didn't want to pay the Audi price =) i think they are "ok" 3-5 stars

Plus to note that seller replaced with no question.
