OK so I been trying to read up on how to set up my ato to my apex and can't grasp the idea or how to do it. I'm not talking where to plug it in. I'm talking the code. I have outlet 4 or 8 open to use. Here is a picture of my float that I have.

I don't really see a complete ATO there. It looks more like some float switches. Where did you get that from?
How are you wanting to utilize your apex? You can turn the outlet on and off, but in order for the apex to see and recognize the float switches, or any type of switch for that matter you need to add a break out box. The switches connect through the break out box so the apex can then be programmed based on the state of the switches. Then its a matter of a simple if/then statement.

    If Switch1 OPEN Then ON.

Or something like that depending on how its completely hooked up and configured.

Page 84 explains break out boxes and continues on to programming.

Looking closer at your pic it looks like you have the correct plug for the breakout box. So i'm guessing someone just bypassed making the entire box and used a couple channels off of that cable to hook the switches to. If thats the case, just figure out which channels they are on (1-6) based on what pin they are wired to and programming accordingly.

    Here is my programming.

    Fallback OFF

    Set OFF

    OSC 000:00/010:00/050:00 Then ON

    If Switch1 OPEN Then OFF

    Defer 000:20 Then ON

As you can see the main trigger on mine is actually not on the float switch, but an OSC function. It turns on for 10 minutes every hour. But if it sees the full level switch triggered it doesn't run. This is a failsafe incase the switch sticks- and it has-. The pump won't run continuously.

the defer statement is for fluctuations while filling. Once it switches off or on, it won't change states for 2 minutes. This keeps the pump from rapidly kicking on and off because of waves etc.

From what I understand just need to plug that into my apex and I do have a aqua lifter pump.

Here is my program, but I have two float switches. Both are setup on my Brake out box for my Apex. I then hooked up a Aqualifter pump to outlet 4 or 8 the relayed ones. One is for my sump and one is for my Reservoir for R/O.

I have a defer statement because the one float in the sump moves around a lot from water movement. The defer statement lets it wait 1minute before it listens to the signal. I had to play with the switches to make sure I new witch was witch. You have to create a virtual outlet to have it show up on your Dashboard so you can see the switches. Look in the Apex online manual on how to do this. Its very easy and you should be good

Here is my original setup with home made Relayed driven setup. Not using Apex. I just took the Floats off the relay setup and added them to break out box, but setup up is still the same other wise.

    Current setup!

When switch above is down and res is not lower then its sump then it waits 1minute then runs Aqualifter pump to feed R/O from bucket.
