Just ordered the Apex auto feeder. Can't wait to get my feeding scheduled and in control. I will let you all know when I get it and how it performs.

Awesome! Keep us posted on the results. I am curious to hear how this works. Not that I have fish to feed yet /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif

    Nice, keep us updated.

I have an autofeeder that works decent, but being able to control it with the apex and program other tank controls to happen when feeding would be ideal.

    First impressions!

I would say its seems built well for a high end feeder. Its light weight and it mounted well on my canopy cross bar.

    Pro's

Built well, Lid comes off, but not easy. I like this, because I know it will not fall off by accident that way. Easy setup and minimum and maximum output for dry food. Setup was a breeze. Plug it in and it creates a feeder module on your system and you can use the program wizard or you can customize your program to do whatever you like. For now I am feeding twice a day starting at 1:00 p.m. and 180 minutes after that. I have the output set at min and tested it to be concistant. It seems better then the $15 dollor auto feeder I can't control. I like the way the lid connects to the cup. It clips in the center and the lid has a foam seal on it. This keeps the food from getting mosture in it.

Aquabus it comes with is 15' so you can place it anywhere you want

    More to come.....

    Con's

The mounting is a little rinky dink, but it works and after figureing it out it will do just fine. Setup was nice, but there is no instuctions on how to fill it.

I have very little to say bad about it so far

    More to come...

  11. would be nice if it came with a couple diffrent mounting options kyle? like a screw on mount for inside the canopy? or how about a downtube for the food if you have stronger fans inside your hood so it doesent blow all over the place? i havent seen 1 in person but was imagining it inside my hood and this was my thoughts
