So this is the second time this has happened the first time the Apex display unit screen went black i unplugged it for a few minutes and plugged it back into the eb8 and it came right back on, This time i was going to program one of the outlets last night i went to click on the outlet i wanted to program and it didnt do anything so i tried it again and nothing and the 3rd time trying to click on the outlet the display screen went black all the pixles on the screen were dark black so i waited a few minutes and nothing. I unplugged it and waited a few minutes and still nothing so i pushed the circle button on the display unit and all the center pixles light up yellow with the pixels around the outside black so there was a big yellow box in the middle of the screen at that time everything that was plugged into the eb8 shut off. i tried to unplug it again and when i did that the screen came back on but everything was screwed up for example if i went to the manual outlet programing screen all the outlets out say xxxx   AAAuto and if i turned it to on it wouldnt do anything and on the actual outlet program screen it says     ^   ^    1111-xxxxxx on all the outlets has anyone ever had this happen????

I've never heard of this but I am also a new owner. That's something I would definitely call the company and see what they say.

This happened to me.  Call Apex support.  They'll walk you through a few things that most likely won't work.  Then you'll have to send it in and they'll fix it for you and ship it back.  I think it took them about 2 weeks for me to get mine back.

I was lucky because my EB8 still worked fine and I could still make any adjustments I needed through the webconsole.

Could also be a bad firmware update.  That thing is finicky on the firmware, and if you don't do it just right, or if it doesn't complete correctly it can coaster the whole unit.

I would try to re-flash the firmware (over a WIRED connection...doing this via wireless network can corrupt the firmware load) and make sure when you're done, upgrade the firmware on all of the attached modules. Many people forget to do this and have outdated firmware on the individual modules.
